Peer pressure in today’s society is overwhelming for children. They want to be like everyone else, not pushing themselves to explore, learn or excel. Children are more interested in being accepted by friends than being the best they can be, and shining in life.
Terri Khonsari, a single mother who raised a superstar child says, “I don’t believe children are born superstars. I believe superstars are made, not born. Every child has the potential to become a superstar. Superstardom means being the best you can be and maximizing your potential in every area of life, not just the ones where you have natural gifts.”
Terri was a single mom who came to the United States with little money, a failed marriage, and her daughter. She could barely speak English and had no friends to help her. Through determination and belief, she built a thriving career, and raised a superstar child who is poised to change the world. She believes that if she raised a superstar, everyone can.
She developed simple and easy tools that every parent can follow to raise a happy, healthy, successful, and well rounded child who will shine in different areas of life. Apply these principles immediately in your own life.
What Is a Superstar?
- A well-rounded person who shines in different areas of life, and chooses to do the best he/she can do.
- Happy, healthy, and fulfilled.
- Samples many different things and area of life.
- Enjoys the act of discovery.
- Lives life as an exciting whole.
- Engages in their career, sports, arts, music, and many other pursuits.
- Cares for the community and the world.
- Creates a balance between many different things that they do to keep mentally and emotionally fit.
The basic requirements for raising superstars is to give them love and teach them how to love themselves, love those around them, and how to love the world. We have to teach children to enjoy many different things in life, and enjoy giving their best in everything they do. This is the type of passion we need to see in their personality.
